Watching clips from the British shoe QI. I especially love David Mitchell, he's funny and irreverent.

Update-Grace has an EP out called "Perfectly Imperfect" & it's awesome! If you're looking to get it, get the Walmart version because it has a bonus track.

I still check reviews from The Needle Drop fairly regularly. It's kind of like a one man Pitchfork in video blogger format with more tongue in cheek humor and emphasis on heavier rock. Some don't like his 'tough critic' approach but I find it rewarding compared to the more mainstream reviewers who seem to praise everything under the sun.

Lately I've been watching clips of cassette decks. I have a cassette deck. Not a bad one. I have no real need for that one. But I enjoy nice videos of Nakamichis, Tandbergs, Studers, Sony, Pioneer, etc. etc. etc. Makes me want a nicer cassette deck. Which I most certainly don't need.

My current favorite is FreewayJim. He makes these sped-up road trip recordings of driving down the freeway in various places----central cities, rural interstates, suburbs, and sets them to music, along with some pop-up information bits about the route, the music, the scenery.

Most of the time, I mute the audio and play my own music choices with his videos playing. Here is a nice sample one. I've not done too much driving out West and these videos let you know what the road is like in far away places that you might never visit.

Thanks for that. On my huge screen at work, I find myself leaning to the side as he negotiates that monstrous hill\/gradient.
