Sarah's Canadian so she might know the French words...

I suppose songs about christmas are more palatable if i can't understand the words.

What's sad is I bet this outperforms either of her last two (excellent) studio albums.

just listened to this today on vinyl....really really enjoyed it, it sounds great, the album is more low key and not as up beat as the other but her voice just takes you away

I guess I realise that no one will read this as the last entry was back in November (and threads move quickly on this forum) but I love Sarah, her original material and her Christmas music. She is by a reasonable margin my favourite overall interpreter of Christmas songs, both secular and christian, and this album is no exception. She makes the familiar and mundane transcendent. That's my opinion anyway and I am never sure why we feel the need to pigeonhole artists as if we have some ownership on what they should or should not do. We dont have to like it, far simpler to vote with our feet really.

    I really like it.
