Pete's vocals on "Our Love Was Is" is my favorite, next to "I Can't Reach You".

    "Flying, Soaring, Shining"

Call me crazy but I rate Pete over Roger. I don't disagree that Roger is (was) a great vocalist; powerful, expressive, and can shout and scream in tune. But I just prefer the honesty that Pete brings to the songs.
Having said that, Keith's singing on Bell Boy is my favorite of all Who lead vocals, from my favorite Who album. Not a bad vocal from anyone on that album.

I would agree. Pete's "Empty Glass" album is one of my all time favorites. I would listen to that over any who album.

  16. You're not. I somehow got in my mind favorite compositions by Pete. Maybe I'm going bat$hit crazy.

I also think I was thinking of Blue Red and Grey. I'd add However Much I Booze.

Honorable mention for the live 1989 performances of "Trick of the Light" with Big Johnny Twinkle on lead vocal.

For Pete, its the break in the live version of Baba O'Riley from The Kids Are Alright. He sings it with real gusto. And yes, I know, he was trashed at the time.

John I like everything except Doctor Doctor which gives me a headache.

  22. Roger's great at big, blustery vocals. Pete can sell the more subtle ones better.

Oddly, probably most of my favorite Who songs probably aren't sung by Rog the Mog.

    Odorono
    Dr Jeckll & Mr Hyde
    Doctor Doctor
    In the City
    Sunrise
    I Need You
    Jaguar
    I Can't Reach You

...the list goes on but these are the ones off the top of my head.
