Last I remember, John Schuck made an appearance in Star Trek - Enterprise as a klingon scientist.

Another actress who made a few minor TV appearances in the 1970s and then disappeared is Liberty/Louise Williams. She was in the original pilot for the TV show Tabitha (she was replaced in the regular series by Lisa Hartman).

The only things I've seen her in from the past 15 years or so were The Final Cut (2004) and Human Trafficking (2005). It's too bad, because I've always thought she was pretty cute. ;)

Kimberly McArthur- She was a Playmate in 1982 and later she appeared as Kelly Capwell on Santa Barbara after Robin Wright left. McArthur was very pretty, resembled Wright but was replaced a few months later. Her appearances were little after that and the internet can't seem to find her.

Steve Guttenberg. He's been in stuff, but not the stuff I've seen.

Most Playmates enjoyed little success as actors, and even fewer enjoyed long-lasting careers.

It's more remarkable when a Playmate continues to get work as they age! Jenny McCarthy and Pam Anderson are exceptions to a very well-established rule...

Bedelia had a prime role on the "Parenthood" TV series that ran from 2010-15.

A lot of the actors picked in this thread "disappear" for one reason: they're women who Hollywood considered to be "too old" for leads.

These women continue to work, but they seem to "vanish" because they're no longer placed in prominent parts - they go from "romantic interest" to "grandma"...

na, she did some low grade stuff before she disappeared--I remember a horror movie (creature genre) and a comedy (with I think Christina Applegate). She was pretty good in Son of Sam, but look at her credits on Wiki: since 2002, her work appears to have been shall we say off the radar.

I mentioned Sorvino's more prominent post-Oscar movies in my post. "Horror movie"= "Mimic", a fairly well-reviewed flick from a now-famous director.

"Comedy" = "Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion" with Lisa Kudrow, not Applegate...

I'm watching Train (2008) right now, and she's the main character.

Joe Pesci, he hasn't done much after two comedies (8 Heads in a Duffelbag and Gone Fishin') he did flopped.
The last thing I remember him doing is a Snickers commercial.

Pesci's last big role seems to have been "Lethal Weapon 4" in 1998.

He did play a small part in 2006's "Good Shepherd" - his first role of any sort since 1998!

Looks like he played a lead in 2010's "Love Ranch", and he's slated to play Jimmy Hoffa in Scorsese's 2018 movie...

I hadn't seen Matthew Broderick in a movie in years, but I just saw him in a small role in Manchester by the Sea (Casey Affleck, Michelle Williams). Ferris Bueller has definitely aged.

Saw her in an episode of House, MD some years ago. Was still good looking.

Saw him yesterday in an episode of the Starz series Party Down, as himself.

Jane Badler, after playing the evil Diana in V, she had a small role in Falcon Crest and she dissapeared until the V remake on which she played a new Diana. I know she moved to Australia and became a jazz singer there with moderate success. I think she was by far the best actress on V, she could have achieved more.

Anne is still pretty busy. Did you look at her credits? She's one of the main characters on a current SyFy show "Aftermath" and just last year was one of the main characters on an USA Network show called "Dig" that I thought was pretty good.

Me too. She was great in that and "American Beauty".

Remember Sarah Michelle Gellar used to be everywhere you looked? Never really rated her acting anyhow

Not very knowledgeable about the movie-TV scene, but there is an ad for a movie starring Warren Beatty out now. I haven't heard of him for ages

That rant from Mel Gibson was career suicide. I don't think we'll ever see much of him again.

Gibson acted in one 2016 movie.

He acted in zero 2015 movies.

He acted in one 2014 movie.

He acted in one 2013 movie.

    And so on.

    Not exactly overexposed, is he?
