Not a poll as there are too many to choose from.

Personally I'd love to see/hear: Private Eyes (Hall & Oates), Cool Night (Paul Davis), My Girl/Gone Gone Gone (Chilliwack), and Sausalito Summernight (Diesel).

I believe the Awesome mix vol. 2 will still be focused around 70's music.

    If that's the case...

Reach Out - Cheap Trick. It would be a nice homage to an actual 80s sci-fi/fantasy flick, Heavy Metal, as that song first appeared there in 1981.

It should be the Boogie Nights soundtrack, repurposed.

Wow! I'm impressed with Chilliwack and Diesel. Not well known anymore by most people. How about Prism - Don't Let Him Know.

Good one! Not very well known - MJ's last work with the Jacksons before Thriller. (And for those of you in your 40s, you may remember "Super TV," that short-lived HBO knock-off that was around in 1981-82....Can You Feel It was the theme song).

Private Eyes was used prominently and perfectly in the Tom Cruise movie Knight & Day, so that alone would keep it from being used here (me thinks). Otherwise I couldn't agree more. Would have fit perfectly if the tone of the movie is that same as the first.

How about that journey song Don't Stop Believing? That's an underplayed/underused song that deserves a resurgence. ;-)

It's a late 70's nugget, so it would still be perfect for Guardians:

    ELO - Starlight
