Oh no. Not another Christmas album. And they're doing Baby It's Cold Outside. How original. And to think there was a time that I wished for her to do a Christmas album. And yes, I'll be buying this. I'm a loyal Olivia fan. A grouchy one too, but loyal.

And thanks for the heads up Chris! So Amazon isn't going to carry the CD? That's a bummer if that's the case.

I'm sad to say but the only post-vinyl ONJ that I truly need is Gaia and Sordid Lives Movie/The Series OST. A track or two on the rest of her releases and that's it.

There's never been a vinyl edition of Gaia. I asked when I ordered the CD from Australia in 1994. He said there was just cassette and CD.

Yes sadly. That's why I included Gaia in her post-vinyl years.

And a small light of hope for those who live in digital hell and have to suffer the horrors of listening to their ONJ records on CD!:shh:

Pity about Liv on not cracking the charts .I haven't bought it yet( not sure I will ultimately) but you'd think it would have done something with all the promotional work she put into it the last few weeks.

Oh well, perhaps this may give her some motivation to do a more mainstream country or pop release in the next few years. Or not.

Or better yet, finally get to work on putting out a comprehensive vinyl and CD reissue of her classic period albums (1971-1985) and perhaps even finally reissue stuff like BACK WITH A HEART and her GOLD comp on vinyl.

    Yeah...fat chance on that...

We can always dream... Personally I´d settle for remastered or expanded versions of "Totally Hot" and "Xanadu". Or scratch the remaster bit - they sound lovely. A SACD of both would be nice, though. I am not holding my breath...

I don't think there's a lot of chance of anything like that. The Japanese SACD releases seem to have dried up again for one thing,

Sadly, you´re most probably right. I wish they would finish some of the runs they started.

It's only listed in digital format for the moment, but I'm sure they will add the CD at some point. Both the 'Two Strong Hearts' CD and DVD are available there, so this one will no doubt follow suit.

Yeah, it's a shame. So many gaps in artists catalogues.

A lot of those MCA CDs of Olivia's are very good. I doubt they could improve on them much. I'd still like them to try, though.:D

Matthew McConaughey, Peyton Manning and more attending CMA Awards

CMA Awards will bring a number of surprising celebrities to Nashville.

Hollywood A-listers Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner and Sharon Stone will all appear during Wednesday's live broadcast at Bridgestone Arena. They'll be joined by NFL great Peyton Manning and “Final Five” Olympic gymnasts Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, Laurie Hernandez, Madison Kocian and Aly Raisman.

Other non-musical guests guests include Lily Tomlin, Olivia Newton-John and TV stars Josh Dallas("Once Upon a Time"), Wendi McLendon-Covey and Hayley Orrantia ("The Goldbergs").

The 50th CMA Awards air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena at 7 p.m. Wednesday on ABC.

Love this report on Olivia presenting at the CMA Awards. Check out the category they put her in. They've obviously listened to Liv On.
