Hmm . . . I seem to recall that The Killer made some pretty good country records . . .

 

Sometimes it's hard to distinguish bravery from foolhardiness.

 

Here is a new artist worth checking out. He is 26 and just released his debut album.

I loved Clint Black. I preferred him to Garth Brooks, though the latter's first four albums were very good.

Just yesterday I got a nice Patsy Cline compilation 'The Legendary Patsy Cline'. I have most of the tunes already..but this CD seems to be rare, or at least gets a fair price on eBay, cheap on discogs though . I like George Jones, Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, and some country-rock of the late 60s early 70s, bluegrass...Ernest Tubb...some other's too.

 

Nothing wrong with the old guard stuff (Haggard, Nelson, Waylon, etc) but the new stuff? Ugh, no thanks.

Dwight Yoakam is one of my favorite artists, with many great albums spanning decades now. Gone is my pick for greatest country album I've heard.​

The Turnpike Troubadours, an excellent red dirt country band, made their Grand Ole' Opry debut last Saturday.

 

I saw Loretta Lynn in Branson on Saturday night.

 

One of my favorite bands; didn't know they had played the Opry.

 

WOW! How cool is that?!?!

 

You are in the company of millions so it would be impossible to hide your shame so go for it.
PS- I like country as well.
