Seems these sets have been put together by Archive producer extraordinaire, Andrew Sandoval. He just posted this on his facebook page:
"I've been workin'.... on this set for the past several months and I am very excited for folks to see the tracklist and especially to hear the fantastic live performances - all heretofore unissued recordings".

The stateside one is announced, so I see no reason for there not to be a European Sony Legacy issue, at around 25€.

My mistake, read your post too quickly. Thought we were still discussing TLTSN. Apologies.

Maybe the 99-minute running time refers to the DVD only? Or they've decided to keep each CD "LP-length" (35 minutes or so).

Amazon's vinyl "volume one" has 2 records (actually tracks are listed on "discs" when clearly they mean sides)
and all the same songs are listed as from the original released album ( 92 minutes )
..... so if more are coming, the rest of those volumes will be unreleased material.

50 Mins??? Where's the rest of the concert? His concerts would have been at least 90 mins long wouldn't they? Surely the whole thing was filmed??. And with Andrew Sandoval at the helm i'm very surprised as his upcoming Monkees Bluray has some amazing finds on it. This is obviously just the broadcast version. I hope this is taken from the master and not some 3rd gen dub!. They always find a way to lessen the impact. Guess Van's people didn't want to go the extra mile for the fans. Shame.

Just saw Van last night in Alpharetta (great show) and am thrilled that this volume 2,3,4 & dvd are being released. I hope a tracklist pops up soon.

I wish the dvd was longer but I'll take anything I can get.

I think I have the televised show which will presumably be the dvd contents. Perhaps it was shortened to fit a tv schedule.
I haven't watched it in ages but I remember hearing snatches of dialogue in it that are also on the record.

I bought it as a boot years ago with an accompanying cd which proceeded o split when I tried to take it out of the dvd casing. Think it was related music from the same concert sequence but I never got to hear it.

Well, there is definitely one extra filmed track that wasn't on the original BBC broadcast. For some reason 'Wild Night' was shown on some clip show in the Netherlands in the 80s and hasn't been seen since. It was added as a bonus track on the boot DVD after the 'complete' BBC show.

As was noted on the other thread, someone asked Andrew Sandoval on Facebook about the listed "99 minutes" length and he said that 2 of the 3 audio discs are nearly 80 minutes apiece, and each of the 3 discs contains 15 tracks of music.

This thread made me get out my LP copy of It's Too Late to Stop Now. I had not listened to it in ages. I forgot about the trifold nature of the album cover. I felt a bit like I was unfolding a map when I went to pull out a LP. And, I forgot just how Van-centric the photos are across the three sides of the album cover. The band gets about 1/2 of one of six possible squares for photos.

My old LPs sounded pretty tired (I bought it in the 80s). I will certainly enjoy having this on CD. I wonder if we will get some more photos of the band!

At least hoping for Hard Nose to be back in print soon, even if it's not an Expanded edition. I've got all the others from this period, but can never seem to find Hard Nose under $30.

It would seem those Warners issues would be near impossible to aquire, given the Iron Fist Mo Osten has! They'd would have to do the Impossible to get those!

As I feel it was,"Hard Nose the Highway" was the most Underrated and Least Appreciated Morrison Lp,as its popularity was weaker than most of His Previous issues.
