Jimmy Webb wrote Piano as a tribute to an old friend and touring partner,with lots of puns,including:"Trying to keep myself upright just like you,piano".
Chris Dedrick wrote a song while composing and observing his young child running up and down the stairs -Music Room,on the last Free Design album,2001's Cosmic Peekaboo. Eventually the child and song mesh:"Dancing like a spirit through the open door".
