Phish: What Are You Listening To?

I heard Breath and Burning in Whole Foods this morning. Odd.

I don't know what to do with this, so I'll just put it here.

 

I'm listening to that one again now, and it reminds me of a mash-up of Guided by Voices and Coldplay. Not in a good way, possibly because I hate Coldplay.

 

Man, they took down from You Tube the 2016 Summer/Fall tour full concert videos that were incredibly good, both in sound quality and video quality. I guess they were from the Phish official site webcasts. I was going to record some of them but never got around to it. I looked around their site and I am not clear if I become a subscriber can I stream the video from these concerts whenever I want (on demand) or only when they chose to put them up?

If somebody here is a subscriber, can you clarify this for me? Are concerts on video available to stream on demand just like the music seems to be for subscribers?

I was there. It was awesome

 

20 years ago today, surely one for the ages (and it's on The Road To Vegas bonus disc).

 

I was "there" in 1994, 95, 98, and 2009. 94 is still my favorite Phish Halloween show, closely followed by 95. They've all been good though.

There are some great tunes on this album.

 

I can put it on in the car and my wife does not get anxious. Don't know what that says about it, but at least we can "share" some P-Fish.

 

I was really impressed by this performance! Having Chris Thile didn't hurt, and the vocals were great. The whole show is available to stream on PHC's website.

 

I impulsively drove solo 12 hours overnight to catch the last two Vegas shows. So glad I went, that Ziggy set was so well executed

Then I was lucky enough to get good seats to the Prairie Home Companion broadcast. Completely unique experience. Trey should tour with a small acoustic band and drums (which I guess technically are acoustic instruments).

I've got my msg tickets and plane fight booked so 2016 phish isn't over yet! After msg I'll be at 20 shows for the year and the only fall shows I caught were 2 in Vegas

2017 is looking to be a light touring year for the band, which works out for me since I'm going to have way less time than 2016

Oops, my bad! That was 19 years ago. Full of '97 funky goodness.

20 years ago today was Vegas '96.

 

Great show..too bad the version on livephish is mastered so poorly.

 

19 years ago today. Live Phish release from Dayton, Ohio. Very nice show, including a great Slave.... Always been one of my favourites.
