Slowdive posted a pic the other day suggesting that their new record is being mastered, so I think they've got this one.

Wait, wasn't there supposed to be a live record from the 2014 tour this year?

Either way, looking forward to new Ride and Slowdive, and happy that I saw Lush.

What was the street date for this? There's nothing about it on the links anymore.

I really hope the Slowdive live album is still coming as the live version of Avalyn I that was available as a free download sounded amazing.

Per Twitter, they started deliver, but it could take awhile. It's a 1-2 person operation mailing them out.

I don't have mine yet either.

Thanks - I was worried that they'd shipped a while back and mine got lost or something.

@LandHorses & @jsayers : thanks! I was wondering about the live EP as well. I thought I remembered the date being the end of November, but as mentioned the dates disappeared once it was sold-out.

I emailed the website this morning and just received this reply :

    Hi John,

The release date was 28th November.

Your order was shipped last week, and will hopefully be with you soon! (allow some time for it to go through customs etc….with Christmas coming up the postal services are far slower than usual).

    Many thanks!

Seems Miki replied (if that is her):

"I admit it, I was angry. You dumped us in the **** Phil, refused to play the show. Didn't have to be this way."

I wish a Curve reunion would happen, but it looks unlikely. From what I've seen on Dean's Facebook page he and Toni discussed it. For awhile Dean's posts were optimistic. Then one day he said it's not going to happen. Last week he posted a SPC ECO song called "F You", and said we could guess who it is dedicated to...

Thanks for the info appreciated, well that sucks
Oh well, maybe Toni and Alan will put something out.
    Just ordered 'Art of Pop'
That SPC ECO single is pretty damn good

Mine arrived today. Those of you other US people who didn't receive it yet should have it very soon.

My live cd arrived today as did the first two issues of Thoughtforms. Those are very well done by the way.

Got mine as well. Looks like the cd is numbered, printed on the back upper right corner of the cd cover. Mine is #410. Haven't listened to it yet but the two Thoughtforms magazines are beautifully done, glad I bought both of them.

Saw Lush open for Ride in the Cotton Club in Atlanta in 1992 and WOW! went Blank Again and Again! Lush was wonderful and really opened up the wallpaper for tasting, but Ride came in and spun daffodils thru injectors to make my brain real happy!

Can't wait to find this box to hear all Lush goodies!

Thanks for that. Very interesting. I had thought from what she said when it started that Miki was likely to be the one pulling the plug on the re-union but it seems she was more amenable to them continuing and maybe making an album (which surprised herself). Looks like the other two, especially Phil, were not happy to continue in any form. Sounds like the touring etc really put a severe strain on personal relations in the band. Shame.

Really enjoyed that interview. Miki is so thoughtful and articulate--and she was just as generous and warm in person when I met her briefly in Washington DC.

Honestly, Miki and Emma are so very well-matched musically and personality-wise; I do wish they'd find a way to keep making music together. Probably not to be. Emma's an enigma wrapped in a mystery. She's deleted her Twitter account, perhaps on account of the sudden farewell. At the show, she came out only at the very end, and was so still and silent that it was a bit scary to approach her ... but once in a lifetime, nothing ventured nothing gained, and I got my autograph and selfie with her, too.

I miss this band already. So very glad I got to see them and meet them, too.
