    Oh! You Pretty Things
Diamond Dogs - great Mick Ronson heavy proto-punk guitar
Golden Years - showcases just some of Bowie's wide array vocal versatility
    Aladdinsane (1913-1938-19? ) - post-Ziggy reflection on pre-war youth with Mike Garson's avant-garde piano
Win - blue eyed plastic soul with graceful vocals

China Girl gets special notice - or notoriety.
At one time, in the 1980 throes of peak popularity, I enjoyed all the pop hooks that Bowie stuffed into this tune - his usual vocal gymnastics gyrating, crooning, whispering, Stevie Ray Vaughan's rocking guitar solos, Nile Rodger's stereotypical Asian theme on guitar, and more.

However, the accompanying video shown 24/7 on EMPTY-V depicted the worst of Asian stereotypes, apparently with obvious ironic intentions; especially with Bowie's astute social commentary and insight.
(But as always, the audience comprehends whatever they choose to "see")

Although I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Ziggy Pop wrote the original version, over the years, for me the songs' initial pop luster turned to just vaguely confusing racial-social-cultural confusion.
So, I began to hear China Girl with prejudice, that I've gathered over the years; the irony is not lost on me.

Interestingly, reading more thoroughly about the background surrounding Iggy Pop's composition provides no doubt about the intended commentary, and David Bowie's later cover, recorded in part to provide financial help to his friend Iggy.

A tough one. It pains me to leave out All The Madmen & Soul Love but I went for:

    Oh You Pretty Things
    Aladdin Sane
Diamond Dogs (when I was very young there was a battered and warped old 45 of this at my grans house. Whenever I went there I used to play it a lot, along with Holy Holy on the B-side. One of the first things that got me into Bowie. I still love that 45 but have a nice copy now)
    Win (what a great vocal)
Breaking Glass (simple, sublime and ground-breaking, all in two minutes)

Oh, I missed out Golden Years aswell. This is too difficult!

I know it gets trashed, but nobody else voted "Outside?" I guess it won't be represented too well. That's one of the clear winners on that album.

Unwashed and Somewhat Slightly Dazed - the title alone of this makes me smile :)
Oh! You Pretty Things - gotta love that line about "driving your Mamas and Papas insane!"
Win - one of my favorite tracks from Young Americans, and arguably his best stab at "blue-eyed (plastic) soul"
Golden Years - deservedly featured on ChangesOneBowie, and a song I wish he'd've revived later in his career
China Girl - a "big 80's" hit I still enjoy, even if Iggy Pop's original may in fact be superior

Everything Eno did with Bowie is golden - The Berlin Trilogy, and Low in particular is choice. breaking glass and Sound and vision are two great tunes.

"China Girl" - probably my most-played Bowie track.

"Golden Years" - from a 'perfect' album.

"Time Will Crawl" - a great track from a very imperfect (but still worthwhile) album.

"Win" - an underrated track from an underrated album. I'll take Young Americans over Hunky Dory.

"Outside" - I'll give this a slight edge over "Up The Hill Backwards".
