So would I, but as I previously stated the opposite is often the case. I'm too old for all that fighting.
The only Norwegian stoner band I can think of is Sahg. But they have a lot of crosspollination with doom. If Immortal and Emperor sound like standard black metal, it's partially because they helped set the standard.
Definitely have some albums of Thulsa Doom and all of We's. I think I have an El Caca record, too. I must be thinking of a Swedish band instead of Norwegian (blasphemy I know). I'm thinking of a band in the vein of The Awesome Machine or Honcho or Xysma or that ilk.

Punks are only punks until they become studio pros. Alternative is only alternative until it becomes mainstream. Death, doom, black, progressive, gothic, stoner, power, speed, thrash, glam, alt/nu, -core have all been incorporated into the metal "mainstream". But they'll never be full incorporated into the rock mainstream. Metal is the troo rock alternative. IF and when metal ever starts to get too commercial or too artsy, you'll always have a new generation of bands coming along to drag it back down into the pits of hell where it belongs.
Finally acquired - and listened to - the BURRN! Legendary Masters CD of Operation:Mindcrime. It's an effing revelation; this album never sounded better. A must own. That is all
Really....interesting might have to track this one down ...details please...cat no / year of release???
