Glad to see Fanny get some love. That songs just kills me, and to think they never did it live. I love hearing some rare Robin falsetto too, at least in the background. I limited myself to five for some unknown reason. I could've picked more. I don't know enough Andy.

Andy's stuff is lighter, but there are some great pop songs in there. If that's your thing, of course.

After that time I don't much care for the Bee Gees

    LOVE the earlier stuff though!

I voted for the ones that I love the most. This period in The Bee Gees career is my favourite. Everything they did between 74 & 81 is as good as it gets!

    Fanny
    Love So Right
    Stayin' Alive
    Night Fever
    Love You Inside Out
(Our Love) Don't Throw It All Away
    Desire

Leave it to the generation who doesn't know the difference between Maud and the Golden girls! I was 10 in 1987! :)

Sorry for the thread distraction. Hopefully anyone who knows the Bee Gees also has heard of Bea Arthur! :)

It would have taken less time to check the songs that aren't favorites.

An amazing period for Bee Gees, family and friends.

Funny, I always thought "(Love Is) Thicker Than Water" rocked harder than anything the Bee Gees themselves ever put out, at least in terms of their singles. Probably due to Joe Walsh's guitar.

Tragedy is my favorite from this period, at least from what I have actually heard.

Some good votes here. Not surprised to see Boogie Child dying a death.:)

Thought Andy's Time Is Time might have done better. It's a good song. Perhaps people just don't remember it.

I don't remember it........ But it's not a bad song. Must of been a tack on to a greatest hits??

"Boogie Child" never resonated with my ears either, so I agree with the majority this time. My favorites from this period would have to be "Tragedy and Nights On Broadway." These two I never tire of.

Yes, Time Is Time was one of 2 new songs on his Greatest Hits album in 1980/1. Good song, though the CD I have fades the original cold ending a few seconds early for some inexplicable reason.

    Mine were the following:

    Guilty (with Babs)
    Jive Talkin'
    Night Fever
    Shadow Dancing (Andy)
(Our Love) Don't Throw it All Away (Andy)

And I also feel Valli's "Grease" is one of the best penned Gibb songs from this period.

On this side of the pond, we had three new songs but one was a cover of Carole King's "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?", a duet with Pat Arnold. You didn't miss much!
