Pepper/White/Abbey Road would be a great 1-2-3 punch from Apple over the next 2-3 years. While Pepper is the historic, cultural landmark, the other 2 albums are just as monumental in the late catalog. The working style of that time suits well to creation of new mixes and studio outtakes. So let's hope Pepper does really well and encourages Apple/Universal to continue this journey a bit further...

I think with tv advertising the album should sell well. Don't think they'll get the female market anymore as Ed Sheeran carrot top singer has like 10 hits this year, and it's still March.

A 5.1 mix of "Revolution 9", maybe THEN it will get the attention and praise it deserves.

A Day in the Life should be 3/4 or 4/5 Lennon! And not sure Her Majesty should count.

    Agreed on both points

If you look at the song writers it's
    John 5 4/5
    Paul 1 1/5

I believe that the Beatles did a new vocal for the song "Help" at C.T.S. Studios in London (only for the MONO version, right?)

A song is either co-written or not. You can't break a song into fifths or whatever. John had the verses, though both of them contributed to the lyrics and music and Paul had the bridge. There's no chorus of course. The second bridge, the "ah's" was pretty much done on the spot and is sung by Paul. George Martin wrote the score having each instrument go from its lowest range to its highest. Neither John, nor Paul contributed to that part as the outtake clearly shows. And why shouldn't Her Majesty count? It's a song and it ends Abbey Road. Its relative brevity doesn't matter. If you don't want to count that, The End is also Paul, though all three play the crucial lead guitar sections. Notice George and Ringo weren't included as writers even though they both played crucial roles in the song? The words are Paul's. Ron

Seems to have been announced at the end of March. Here's the article from NME, week ending April 1, 1967:

While HM is short, it packs a fair number of chords and words in and is really more of a song than either The End (also Paul) or I Want You and no less of a song than a number of tunes in the medley.
