This band have been going for 25 years and are pure quality. Their new singer is on album number three and it is an album where the band finally gel. 'Silver' celebrates 25 years and is a decent slab of Deep Purple/Whitesnake style rock.

It always amazes me that they are not a household name!

Anyone else a fan of Gotthard?

    • I bet they wouldn't be able to get a Nova Scotia licence plate either

I just pulled up a video on YouTube. Nice! Stuff happens in Europe. I love morow.com and listen to it often to get a feel that Rock and Roll is still progressing onwards.

I think the Young Gods are the best Swiss band.

Love Gotthard and have all their stuff. My favorite would probably be Domino Effect but all their stuff is great. 14 consecutive #1 albums in their home country I believe not a bad feat!

I enjoyed their first couple of albums and saw them live. They were quite popular here in Germany in the 90s.
I don' know any of their more recent albums.

Try their brand new album Silver which celebrates 25 years in the business.

The first song grabs you and segues straight into track two beautifully. Listen out for Tequila Symphony No. 5 because it is something special!
