    WBIN in N.H. has picked up Antenna TV, but they're only showing a tiny fraction of the schedule! No Tonight Show, for example,

    @WhoseLineFan --

    During certain hours of the day, this local station in Boston is carrying shows from the AntennaTV network, but during other hours, they are showing other stuff. Here's what's coming up between now and 9PM on WBIN:

    During those ten hours, only two hours are AntennaTV programming.

    My Knoxville Antenna TV affiliate is about half and half from about 11 p.m. to noon. So, at least I'm on the side that gets The Tonight Show.

    I would call that station and complain politely that they need to air the full schedule.

    Better yet, get the name and email of the Station Manager, and send him an email.

    My Antenna affiliate clears most of the schedule, with the exception of two hours of the day when they air MyNetworkTV programming.

    If they've just joined the Antenna network, it's possible that they have outstanding contracts with the infomercial guys on the schedule, and that they have to honor said contracts. Coming from a life in broadcasting, I can say that that's how these things sometimes work. Was this subchannel in existence before they added Antenna, or did it just come on the air?

    There was a station in my hometown that had a partial affiliation with This TV. They would show some of the This movies, and then not others to make way for infomercials, local news, and bad syndicated shows. It was so irritating. You would see commercials for movies that were going to be on in Prime Time, and think to yourself, don't get excited, for us it will probably be a "Half and Half" rerun or a ThermoSpa infomercial.

    I don't think it's a subchannel. I think it's regular WBIN. It's been around for a while.

    That's weird that they'd start an affiliation with Antenna just as they were going out of business!

    It *is* a subchannel, 50.2, and the above poster is correct, the owners have sold their broadcast rights back to the FCC in order to give your phone more bandwidth.

    The FCC held an auction asking all television broadcasters if they'd sell their spectrum space for millions of dollars and go off the air. The remaining television stations will all be *compacted* into a smaller digital space sometime around 2020. It's all part of the fact that the giant "THEY" want everyone to pay for all television.

    Um, did someone tell you that free over the air TV is going away?...

    Because it isn't. No worries. :) It's too much of of a moneymaker for stations and would cut off the stations from way to many households who would never pay to access those stations.

    Why? Does that mean that Antenna TV won't be on Comcast anymore? What about WBIN Classics?

    It's certainly changing with the advent of 4K and UHD broadcasts over ATSC 3.o tuners:

    I guess that Antenna TV will still be on Comcast if Comcast in NH gets it from a different source. I don't remember seeing Antenna's programs listed on my RCN schedule before this week-you were probably getting it from someone else.

    Welp. I just checked the TV listings and it looks like WBIN is showing some stuff from Antenna TV in New Hampshire as well.
