Sometimes I want to stop composing. But each time I think that I'll stop, a Droog bangs me on the noggin with a milk bottle and tells me to keep going. It's driving me mad. I can't stop thinking about my music. In fact I have had my tunes go through my head so many times that I fear that I will end up like this:

I can't enjoy the music that I create because I can never hear it for the first time; I call this composer's curse. What do I do? If I take a complete break The Droogs will get me into their crowd to bash up some innocent grandma.

Is there any particular reason you want to stop?

You only enjoy music when you hear it for the first time?

You will only stop composing when you start decomposing.

Maybe you should ease back a bit on the Moloko Plus.

I had a few years where I wrote hundreds of poems. It was pointless. Now I write maybe one a year. A very short one that takes three minutes. I don't regret it, but I should have used the time to climb Mount Everest instead. Now it's too late. ;)
