This would be the coolest way to see them, small venue...reasonable ticket price, count me in if they're anywhere near here:)

  4. Could not agree more, a perfect (no pun intended) environment I'd say, and most definitely affordable in my view.

I hope I get the opportunity. We are all blessed they are still here with us.

Wow, six years ago she hadn't stepped on a plane in years and looked to be permanently retired. So happy for her!

I'm sure there'll be backing but not by Mick and John.

I want to go to this show and I know that my wife would be all over this as well. Two of our favorites with great wine, where the hell do we sign up, LOL!

If I were living in the Bay Area at this point, I'd be all over this. Great venue and the idea of McVie / Buckingham in concert is, to me, sooooo much more appealing than seeing Fleetwood Mac play the roving hits jukebox.

it will probably be some combination of FM backing band and Buckingham's solo band - so Brett Tuggle, Neale Heyward, and somebody on drums.

I had a more intimate close experience at all 4 arena shows 2 yrs ago compared to what my "seat" would be at the winery. The vip are gone and in GA you are forced to sit on ground. Forced.

  14. This could be very interesting, just a piano, a guitar and the songs. If they'll eventually come over to Europe and visit the Netherlands I'll be there.

I would imagine that the typical Fleetwood Mac set list will be tossed to the wind, I'm willing to bet they are sick to death of doing Go Your Own Way etc. and what we will see are new tunes and deep cuts with a few of the overplayed crowd pleasers thrown in to keep the less informed from rioting:)

Less than informed? Please let me know what show you go to, so I don't end up next you. I want to hear them do "Don't Stop" and all of those Buckingham/McVie songs, the "less informed" want to hear.

I wouldn't invest a whole lot in hoping for a show full of rarely performed songs. Beyond playing some new material they will likely play the obvious. Christine is not someone who's out to be surprising.

Lindsey seems to like Go Your Own Way and the other big hits enough to play them at solo shows. I don't expect this to be different.

    haha right?

from what he says, apparently he has other plans at the time when BuckMcVie will tour. probably so that their tour is not confused with upcoming Fleetwood Mac tour in 2018.

So the new album is essentially Fleetwood Mac minus Stevie Nicks?

From McVie's quote saying it will be available everywhere, on iTunes and vinyl... is she implying no CD release? That would be disappointing. If the digital version will be download only, they need to offer at least CD-quality lossless... I would think they would lose potential sales with no CD option.
