If I recall her father was Quincy Jones and her mum is Peggy Lipton ( Norma Jenkins in Twin Peaks). She's great in Parks and Rec.

Yes, again, of course I know this. I can't help but follow all things Rashida.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled program .

 

Agreed about the interview intercuts, but I have no memory of Chloe and Perry confrontations (what were they about? Wonder why it didn't register with me...).

Wow, that sounds really creepy to me. Hope the have good security on all this surveillance!

 

My understanding is that it's fairly (if not very) common, but maybe not. And don't visualize some video feed that gets up close and personal with each kid--more like something in the corner that provides an overhead view of the entire classroom. In other words it's not exactly the kind of thing you'd have to worry about getting into the wrong hands. Personally, I think the show's writing is tactfully avoiding the subject because it detract from the drama and mystery and I'm okay with that.

 

I bought a DVD of the first season of "Parks" on eBay for $3.00. That way, no commercials. Please tell me it did not have laugh tracks???

 

No laugh track. From what I heard, it took a season or two to find itself.

 

Yes, it really picks up mid-season 2, but even season 1 has some good episodes. No laugh track as the show was based on The Office format where characters talk to an off screen interviewer. I liked the show.

 

I'm sorry that was my mistake. I meant Celeste not Chloe. Chloe is Madeline's youngest daughter, right?

 

Yeah. I, too, was thrown off by that. I actually considered rewatching this whole series over...this time without the bourbon...thinking I missed parts.

How are they possibly going to wrap this all up in one episode?

 

I just watched the first six episodes of this over the last few days. It's okay. I mostly just want it to end and only started as I heard it was a mini-series and not intended to drag over multiple seasons. But why are there posts all over this page about Rashida Jones. I haven't seen her in the show at all, or did I miss something?

 

The Rashida sidetrack was due to Parks & Rec reference re Adam Scott ( Reese's husband on Lies) who was in that show. Carry on.

 

Okay, I get it.

 

Probably stretch it out to a 90 minute finale.

 

Tonight is it, right? This is the finale and we find out who died? I wouldn't be surprised if they left the perpetrator unknown. My guess is the abusive husband (of Celeste) is the fatality, killed by her or by Jane Chapman. There could be multiple deaths, but if there is only one, I think it will be him. My HOPE is for a Renta Klein death, but I'm betting on Perry. Wonder if we'll find out for sure who has been harming the ridiculously named Amabelle. On that front, I expect it to be either self-inflicted or its the popular kid Chloe doing it and because Amabelle knows that everyone loves Chloe so much, she fingered the new kid Toby instead.

 

But she was such a good and contrite person in the last episode (like any true hysteric).
