    Hi

I have three copies of the mono Sgt Pepper...been in my collection forever. I noticed something about one of them the other day (not been off the shelf for about 20 years) On one side the label is PMC and the other it's PMCS..the record itself is mono both sides but one side definitely has a stereo label. Has anyone seen one of these before? It is so old I genuinely can't remember where I got it from, probably a record shop somewhere in the 80s or 90s in the UK. It would be nice to think I have just fund my pension plan...but I suspect someone will tell me otherwise...all help gratefully received

    Cheers
    Sull

I have a copy with no yellow band across top , is that a mono copy ? It has the schrink wrap on album how ever the wrap was opened , has a price tag on wrap of $ 4.98 erg price our price $ 3.98 . Sound like from the late 70s with that pricing . Does have the rainbow label however ,

Stereo has a PCS prefix, not PMCS. Can you post a picture of the label?

Edit: Apparently PMCS is found on Swedish releases.

Yes. MAS prefix = mono, SMAS prefix = stereo
