    Her life really went downhill.
I remeber her being on the Howard Stern Show a few years ago and she was really messed up.
    Sad news.

Very sad news. I grew up watching her on "Happy Days" and I remember seeing her in the early 80s sci-fi flick "Galaxy of Terror". But I never knew she had it so rough until reading her obit on the web. RIP Erin. :(

Howard has had Ron Howard on the show quite a few times, and he asked him about Erin Moran. Ron kind of sighed and said that all of the cast of Happy Days had reached out to Ms. Moran several times (including financial help), but she had so many mental health/substance abuse issues, they all kind of gave up over time. My impression is that she wanted to keep on doing what she'd been doing and refused to get serious professional help.

I worked on Happy Days for a few years and the crew told me that everybody on the show was very nice, cordial, totally professional, and they were glad to be working. (The set of Laverne & Shirley was a lot more grim and difficult.) I never saw an episode of Joanie Loves Chachi but I know it didn't do well...

What blows my mind is that they're "supposed" to be somewhere in the mid-1960s, but the song sounds like all those early syrupy 1980s pop ballads.

I met Henry Winkler once at Paramount Studios.....very nice guy. And I've heard the same from Ron Howard
