RSD 2017: The Deals

Still didnt' buy Springsteen at $75.

 

Anyone seen the Cocteau Twins LPs online?

 

Dusty Groove has them listed on their site but they haven't put them up for sale yet with their other RSD titles.

 

I had the Springsteen 3-LP Hammersmith Odeon LP in hand... On my way to the cash register I looked at the sticker: $79.98! Turned around and handed it back to the store employee....

 

Actually 4-LP but still expensive.

 

Had a $120 sticker at the one store that I saw it in. I left it.

 

I had it in my hand, too. The store I was it had it for $72.99. Once I added up everything in my hands, I put it back. I didn't need to have this.

 

Same here $82 , they can keep it ....

 

Remember that the Springsteen wasn't a RSD exclusive just a first release so it will be available later. I'll pick it up when one of the on-line vendors has a sale when they have it in stock.

There are some listed over at Discogs but the prices are quite high. Juno records has 4 Calendar Cafe listed as "coming soon" so I'm hoping there's a regular version of the RSD reissue to be released eventually.

 

The Doors at the Matrix SOLD OUT? Holy smokes. Didn't they press 10k of them? That's a lot.

 

IIRC the Smiths 7" was 12,000 and is already fetching high markups on eBay. One sold here hours ago for $13.

 

We're still in the suckers only period following RSD. Check again next week or month.
