Hey guys. I'm just about to move overseas and got some decent offers on my record collection. I wasn't planning to sell it, just store it, but now I'm reconsidering since we're planning to travel a lot for the next few years. My gf has made a compelling case. :)

Anyone know any private sellers that might want to acquire a $80k collection.

No junk. Everything NM or better. Tons of $100+ records and audiophile labels.

    Probably 500 new unopened records.

Message me if you know anyone. Records have to be gone before the first, so local pickup is preferred.

90% of collection is logged in Discogs. Here's the link:

The Last Record Store in Santa Rosa might buy your collection. Otherwise, you have a PM.

Disc Union (Japan) has buyers in the Bay Area. I think their office is in Burlingame.

How many records are in this $80k collection? Your Discogs list only shows 1693 titles.

+1 If you don't need to sell putting them in storage could prevent a lot of regret down the track.

  11. If such a large portion is unopened you're making the right choice to sell as opposed to paying storage fees (and the problems that could arise from it). Although they're located in So Cal, you might try Rockaway.
