Excuse my ignorance, but what does non-fill mean in this instance?

Regarding Decade which I always thought was a good collection with some rarities despite the picture on the front cover being awful. I like the rest of the package. Does this new issue?
    1. replicate the original packaging
    2. Use any new masterings for any of the tracks. The hi res downloads I have of the relevant albums are superb as are the dvd audios where they exist and stand alone cd remasters of the first 4 albums, On the Beach and American Stars and Bars. ie does this new vinyl sound better than a decent 1970s copy?

Buy one if these and the warp issue ceases to be an issue, period:

That is a pretty bad looking edge warp! Do you think it is a serious pressing defect or just a warp that perhaps could be resolved? I have had warped records that were like potato chips that literally danced up and down on my turntable. I have been able to resolve the problem though in every case, the most recent being a really nice original Graham Parker & The Rumour 'Heat Treatment' Promo that was in all other respects Mint.

I can understand how an 'old' record might become warped but your 'Decade' LPs were probably only pressed in the past 3 or 4 months. Not good at all. Record Industry seems to be going the way of Pallas with frequent 'non-fill' issues lately. I don't know why it is but Neil Young vinyl seem to be plagued with 'non-fill' problems? There were issues with the first 2 Box Sets pressed at Pallas, 'Harvest' and 'On The Beach' had serious 'non-fill' defects. I hope people bring this to the attention of Neil's web store. I am rather happy to have an original Japanese copy of 'Decade' purchased many years ago. It is not a pleasant business taking defective records back to the store either. Sometimes I get the impression that they think you are a 'malcontent' because they do not understand the issues involved.:sigh:

I got mine at our local Media Play, whenever it was they still existed. I remember my now adult son was a kid. It's the fatboy. I too, never needed a copy since it was always playing on somebody's turntable, since the day it was released in '77.
I remember my son took to it within hours.
