    Bob Dylan ~ "Bob Dylan"
Columbia Records U.S. 12" Mono LP.
Rare original, early first Promotional Copy pressing.
Columbia 1962 'six-eye' mono labels have "Demonstration Record"
and "Not For Sale" printed in to the actual labels. Very rare example.
The reason Dylan collectors seek out the early six-eye labels is because
just two months after the LP was released, Columbia completely changed
their record labels .. This first s/t album did not do well sales wise, making
these LP's the most treasured. The Mono copies out numbered the Stereo
pressings something like 10 / 1 or more. Making the Stereo 'six-eye' a major
chord, these first "Demonstration" 'six-eye' Mono's are also very sought after,
    especially in NM.

Wishing the Bobster a GIANT HAPPY 76TH BIRTHDAY!!
Don't have any elite Bob rare albums only have all his 1960's commercially available albums mono and some stereo pressings.
Most of the bootleg series. I have plenty of Dylan books also. Still learning more about Bob.

Just spun the Best Of The Cutting Edge last night 3 lp vinyl. I'll be spinning the Real Albert Hall 2 lp today as well as some of the 36 cd Live 1966 recordings box set later on. Maybe throw on Triplicate tonight.

    Happy 76th Birthday Bob!!:cop::tiphat::D

Bob Dylan ~ "Another Side of Bob Dylan"
Columbia Records U.S. 12" mono 'Guaranteed High Fidelity' LP.
This is the very first issue w rare Columbia pressing, having the
textured raised relief pattern of the 'eye" label.
The Columbia white-print, textured label variation
is becoming near impossible to find w no spindle wear
    ... a most beautiful example.

This oddball label was the only one ever released for a Dylan album.

Actually, Bob's b-day has always been something of a sore spot with me. The very first Dylan bio I ever read (a 1966 quickie called Bob Dylan: The Folk Rock Story) had the Minnesota bard making his earthly debut on May 21 — which happens to be my birthday.

Sound the trumpets, my destiny was foretold, etc. — at least until I got my first copy of Freewheelin' some time later (which of course mentioned Bob's actual DOB), and later confirmed by Anthony Scaduto's semi-authorized bio in 1972.

Wasn't this something to do with his birth date being wrong on his passport ?

    To add to the confusion:

"Bob's identity card in the photo on the rear of the booklet contains a mistake: Bob's birth date is shown as "May 11, 1941" - it should be "May 24, 1941"."

Here's one I had many years ago, I sold it or traded it way back in the 70s. @Bruce Mulle' will know more about it than I do. I guess it's Witmark demos? I don't recall if it even had a sleeve other than a plain white paper inner sleeve.

This is a rare U.S. Warner Bros/7 Arts, one-sided mono LP.
The songs are part of the Witmark Demos, came out in 1967.
Often listed as an acetate disc, it is a test pressing used to shop some of Dylan's songs around.
Mine came in a white die-cut cover as you mentioned above.

    Bob Dylan ~ "FAREWELL"
MPHC U.S. 8" metal reference acetate.
Authentic and original rarity .. Artist listed as "DYLAN"
This is a Witmark & Sons demo lacquer c., 1963.
Came in an original audiodisc sleeve, along with a music sheet to shop for cover artists.
