I would add to the Crimson list an album with Court Of The Crimson King lineup. I miss Lake's voice and bass from that period. Ian MacDonald is a fooking genius. Giles kills it. Lake and Giles what a rythym section every bit as great as Wetton and Bruford. Those 2 lineups were nothing short of amazing! That's not an opinion, that's a bleeding fact! Peace
Yes, but they only did a few songs, and Dion's managers put an end to the project. Spector owns the recordings they did.
a real gilberto gil album between:1972 and 1975! even if cicade do Salvador is great! but he was during this period at an incredible peak!
A studio duets album by Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald A Nirvana studio, mainly acoustic follow-up to In Utero
When Elvis Presley returned to Nashville in march 1971, he seemed to have a folk album in mind. He recorded two songs by Gordon Lightfoot in a accoustic style ((For lovin´ me & Early mornin´ rain) plus The first time ever I saw your face. He also recorded Amazing grace. Then he had to cancel the rest of the session because of eye problems. When he returned in may, most of the spark was gone and he concentrated on a half hearted christmas album and an better gospel album. But the folky stuff sounded really good and could have been the proper follow up to his fantastic country album, released in januari 1971.
The Velvet Underground 3rd with John Cale playing and sharing the creative direction. The Velvet Underground album that John Cale wanted to record under water, which may or may not have been the one above. A Velvet Underground album with Angus Maclise.
1. A cd set of all the rare and unreleased tracks recorded by Radiohead. That way I could get them all in one shot rather then having to rebuy albums I already have or search for all their out of print EPs. 2. A set of unreleased tracks from Tool (if they have anything unreleased).
I used to have a recurring dream that Faith No More recorded another album in the 90s I never got around to buying. I used to see the video and hear the single in these dreams, and think, "oh, yeah, I still haven't bought that one!".
All-analog Reveal with Bill Berry on drums and no sign of "Imitation Of Life" (R.E.M.). DR increased to 12. Also, Joni Mitchell and Mama Cass...original compositions.
