Sad to hear of Mr Moore's passing... by every and all accounts, he was a total gentleman and a class act to all and sundry right to the end, it's a life truly well-lived when not a single person has a bad word to say about you on shuffling off this mortal coil... if more people were like Rog, it would be a much, much better world.

Rest in peace, sir, you will always be my Bond.

Raised eyebrows at half-mast until further notice...

In 1980, being 11 years old, I saw my first Bond movie: "Moonraker". I loved it then and I love it now. Roger Moore's Bond pictures will always be attached to the happiest days of my life.

    Rest in peace, Mr. Moore.

Nobody did that family friendly version of Bond better. I grew up with him too. Even though I'm still not sure about making Bond movies into semi-comedies, they sure picked the right guy to carry it off. RIP.

R.I.P. to the best Bond, in my opinion. He was great in Maverick and The Saint, and was solid in pretty much anything he appeared in. One of my favorite Moore films was ffolkes, an out of character role for him.

But he also has the honor of being the last-ever guest star on the original Muppet Show....

RIP. Loved Roger as Bond. It was a seamless shift from Connery to him.

He appeared in one episode of the first 'season of "Alias'' that makes me wonder they could have cast him in several episodes
