MMT 2012 remaster vinyl. The audio is amazing, but why do all the discs look unfinished, with edges that look like they were cut with scissors? I'll look in the history for a related thread...

Emma Ruth Rundle. "Marked for Death." I started a thread for her, and I highly recommend it.

Just arrived today! The Who's 1967 'Happy Jack' Japan picture sleeve single - as with all Japan Who singles, it's a thing of beauty.

Last week I checked out the newest record store in my town. Hardly any stock, but I walked out with nice clean vinyl copies of the following:

    Christian Death - Ashes $12
Paul Simon - Paul Simon $2

    I will go back

Then I popped over to a Goodwill and found the CD of The English Beat - What Is Beat? to partially fill the Special Beat Service hole in my Beat collection. Not a bad day.

A 2 LP AMIGA Sampler of East German Rock from 1986. Featuring bands like "Smokings Rockshow" "Monokel" & "Formel 1". Something is telling me to hold off until tomorrow and play this very loud over the speakers [it's 3:00 am now, headphones zone].

Just got the great 2013 record from Melanie De Biasio, No Deal. Only one listen in on the vinyl and sounding really nice. I've played her latest Blackened Cities EP a ton over the last year, so it's really nice to have some more of her in my vinyl collection. This one comes with the CD too, which is always a nice touch. Beautiful record, anyone that likes the sound of atmospheric modern jazz descended from Talk Talk's Spirit of Eden, with vocals haunted by the spirits of some of the great jazz singers of the past, is probably already a big fan of this one. But if you don't know it yet, highly recommended. Her new record Lilies is out Oct 6, can't wait.
