I don't know why but I can't pass up a Police Academy movie no matter how bad I know it is.

I voted for Raiders. You're missing Raging Bull and King of Comedy. Honorable mention: Scarface, which epitomized the '80s.

Lots of great choices for the 80s but Raiders of the Lost Ark has always been my favorite.

If you ask six year old me I would of said The Land Before Time :)

I have a few. I remember being stuck in Washington, D.C. in 1992 during the Presidential Inauguration and
catching both The Hours And Times and Reservoir Dogs for the first time on the same afternoon. Big fun.

The early nineties was a cool period for cinema, Tarantino's decade. :)

A personal favorite I never see on any lists is John Landis' Into the Night. Lots of fun cameos and Michelle Pfeiffer.

That would be my first choice as well, with Ghostbusters as a close second. Aliens ain't bad at all, too.

My "other": Local Hero. I was just playing Knopfler's soundtrack in the car the other day, saying to myself that it had been too long. Time to see it again!
