Discussion question: Out of 7 Moving Pictures tracks are there any songs where you prefer the live version to the studio version?

 

As good as it is - I've tired of Red Barchetta over the years.

Love all of the songs on the album but there's something about hearing YYZ live that just takes it to another level for me.

 

The Camera Eye.

DQ: I think I like the album versions the best. The ones on Exit Stage Left are alright.

 

I'd have to vote The Camera Eye as that track never really "clicked" for me. As pointed out above, Red Barchetta is getting a little old for me, however, I much prefer the version of it on Exit Stage Left to the album version. My favorite would be YYZ and I really enjoy listing to the live verison on Exit Stage left much more than the studio version.

DQ: I like all the live versions I've heard of these songs, but probably none more than the album versions.

 

Hard to choose - but "The Camera Eye" is definitely the best track on this album.
