    Did Jethro Tull influence Ritchie Blackmore (Blackmore's Night) in any way ?

    I'm of 2 minds about Ritchie. He does seem to have been difficult, but he always shared space and limelight with Jon Lord and other members both on record and the stage, rather than bury their parts in the mix the way some hard rock guitarists did.

    Yngwie was similar it seems. Temperamental personally, but gave lots of space and solos to his keyboardist Jens Johanssen, which was unusual for a heavy metal guitar hero of that era.

    Thanks for that insight! It's good to kind of get a fuller picture as fragments of that can be what you assume is the complete presentation of a musician:righton:

    Maybe these two can play well with other musicians (more or less?) but, maybe not other guitar players possibly?
