He was responsible for my two favorite movies, On Any Sunday and Endless Summer. Hard to express the meaning and influance these two movies had on so many young people over the years, myself included. Thank you Sir, it would not have been the same without you. :righton:

The Endless Summer is a movie I've loved forever. Great narration as well by Mr. Brown. RIP sir.

    Bummer man.

On my shelf: Slippery When Wet, Surf Crazy, Surfing Hollow-Days, Endless Summer I & II & Revisited. His dad Bud made some of the first surf films, and then his son Dana made a classic in Step Into Liquid.

He was a nice man. I worked on the original 1980 home video release of Endless Summer with Bruce, and then years later worked with his son Dana Brown on the motocross documentary Dust to Glory. Both good people.

Never have gotten around to seeing On Any Given Sunday, but Endless Summer was a cool little film (and I don't really care that much for surfing, either). He had a great voice as well.

    RIP.
