It's been a while since I've done one of these, so well I thought why not. You have as many choices as you want.

I picked six of them which seems really generous on my part.

I picked zero, and my generous part is not saying what I really think of this list. :shh:

I picked seven, but I remember playing pretty much all of these on my college radio show. Very fond memories of this time.

I picked 12 and I probably surprised myself because I usually never pick that many from one of these polls, but there were a lot of songs I enjoy that was on this Top 25.

Michael Jackson - Rock With You
Captain & Tenille - Do That Me One More Time
Rupert Holmes - Escape (The Pina Colada Song)
Cliff Richard - We Don't Talk Anymore
KC & The Sunshine Band - Please Don't Go
The Eagles - The Long Run
    Fleetwood Mac - Sara
Kenny Loggins - This Is It
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - Don't Do Me Like That
Queen - Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Daryl Hall & John Oates - Wait For Me
    Styx - Babe

I like most of those. In particular, the Stevie Wonder and Dionne Warwick songs are great smooth r&b that have been somewhat forgotten. "We Don't Talk Anymore" is a rare hit song that changes to a lower key during the chorus.

Not the best list in the world, but shocking myself, I went with the R&B flavor.

I picked all of them. Great memories for me of this time.

As a side note, Isaac Hayes was actually at both #'s 20 and 21 on this chart. He sang #20, "Don't Let Go", but didn't write it. He did write #21, "Deja Vu", but didn't sing it.

"Wait For Me" is my all-time Hall & Oates track. I love the studio version, and also the live one on Rock & Soul - although I usually fade it out before the end when Daryl drags out "fadingggggg" for about 5 minutes!

    Steve Forbert deserved more hits!

Not much on this one for me, I’m afraid. I could only pick four:
    Michael Jackson
    Prince
    Fleetwood Mac
    Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers

And a very sad list too, with three of the four having left this mortal coil :shake:
