Looks like a pretty good buy for $2,799 shipped and no sales tax outside of California.

    VTA Base = $1,200
    10.5" Arm = $1,000
    Prime/Classic Platter = $1,000
    Classic Feet = $400
    Clamp = $150
    Cool white color...Priceless!

That's $3,750 in upgrades not to mention the plinth and motor which are standard.

    More information:

Pretty cool. I guess that's the new version of the 300 RPM motor?

With the 2" Classic Platter , the Adjustable VTA Tower and the 10.5 Arm, this is a good buy.

Finally a table to make that ugly mat attractive. It looks really sharp and I prefer the looks of that arm over the others.

I'm pretty sure the "Normal" Prime Scout comes Standard with a 9" Arm, the 10-1/2" Version is Mo Better:winkgrin: Plus, the Adjustable VTA "on the fly" is pretty handy.

My table arrived today, will be a couple of days until I can get it all set-up. Just wanted to mention that this table package also includes the anti-skate device that is offered as an add-on for another $100. The packaging with the custom foam inserts and multiple layers/compartments within the box was quite amazing and impressive as well.

That looks wonderful. I'd love one of those adjustable-on-the-fly VTA arms.

This makes me wish I was in the market. That's a pretty impressive price point.

Seems like a great deal to me. Other than the plinth, it is nearly the same as my VPI Aries 3.

I just noticed the bottom of the page has an offer for paypay financing with 6 months no interest. This is so tempting it's not even funny.

Man, I am in the market for a new turntable and I keep getting pulled back to VPI. I was close to getting the Prime Scout Black Friday deal, but I then convinced myself to go for the Mofi UltraDeck. Now seeing this deal, I think the better way to go is VPI. Problem is, I don't have any more money for a cartridge!

You don't have one you could use for now? I see Upscale Audio is also offering 15% on select cartridges with a turntable purchase.

Nice table. Great deal with that arm and base. the Classic Platter is also key. Keep your eyes open for a good deal on a VPI periphery ring for it. You'll never even know if your records are warped with one of those.

Well yes, I currently have a technics 1200 mk5 with an old AT 440mlb cart. I can use that but as you can imagine it would be a temporary cart until one of more on the level of this table.

It took just about every dime in my Audio Budget to purchase my first Classic 1, I wanted to get the best deck I could possibly afford.

It was almost three months later before I came up with the cash to purchase a SoundSmith Zephyr. For three months I would turn on the deck and watch it spin, trying to imagine just how she was going to sound!

Having the Table and not being able to make music with it was agonizing at the time, but I made it through!
