Betty White is 96 and still going strong!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Betty White turns 96

I love what she says her diet consists of!

 

So I guess it's hot dogs and vodka at least once a week from now on. This works for me better than the daily pint of gin that got the Queen Mum to 101.

 

She was so cute back in the 50s.



And she's still cute, and probably more popular now than ever!

 

I think she's been more popular in the last 15 years than she was even during The Golden Girls' peak and that's kind of amazing...

Can anyone shed some light on the Bea Arthur vs. Betty White thing? I've heard for years that they didn't get along, but I've never known exactly why. Betty seems like she could get along with anyone, so I assume the problem was more with Bea?

 

Ms. Arthur literally had a Bea in her bonnet whenever she chose to wear a bonnet, so there you have it.

 

Betty White is so cool, I hope she's around for a long, long time.

 

Hope she meets Bob this year.

 

Betty doesn't know why Be a didn't like her.

According to one of her books she appeared on experimental television in Los Angeles when she was in high school, or very shortly she graduated. I thought she gave the date as 1938. Regardless, it goes without saying that of all current stars she has been appearing on the medium longer than anyone else.
