    Agreed! The singing throughout the whole movie wasn't that good but Pierce easily takes the cake.

    I think when one is pleasantly surprised by an actor who can carry a tune it helps.

    Sam Chalpin.

    OK, I'm cheating. Sam was a cantor and was semi-forced into making the album by his son, notorious producer and Hendrix foe Ed Chalpin.

    Indeed — Lee Marvin’s tune from that film edged The Beatles’ Let It Be out of the #1 spot in the UK.

    As I used to tell my friends back in college when they used to razz me about this (because they knew I was a big fan of his westerns), this is his lesser known twin brother Clyde, not Clint. Not Clint.

  11. In a works where 10 CD Debbie Gibson box sets are a thing, I suspect a set like this might actually break even.

    LOL, Where in the world did you find that?? My memory is correct though!!!!
    :wiggle::wiggle::wiggle::wiggle:

    BTW Lee Marvin was not much better. They just played that Wandering Star song on WFMU, he croaks more than he sings, and then they have all these backup singers crooning away to prop him up

    I thought that they should have let Arthur Brown sing ETTB in its entirety, as there are times during Clapton's performance in which it sounds like he's about to permanently go on the nod.

    I appreciate that Townsend was giving him a helping hand at the time, but in a movie already suffering from a surfeit of subpar performances, the last thing it needed was one from an actual musician.

    Steven Seagal.

    Not going to post any of it, it may contravene noise laws in several states...

    Not an actor per se, but how about "country rap" from Don Imus? Yes he actually sang, this is from 1975:

    I love the part of the "Party All the Time" video where Eddie hits a (sorta) high note and Rick James acts like he just landed on the moon! :laugh:

    Actually thought it was pretty good. The rest of the album was kind of dire.

    Her version of Cole Porters - Heat Wave isn't too bad. Nor is I Want To Be Loved By You. She can sing Happy Birthday anytime to me and I promise to smile.
