I’d like to see a box of Linda Ronstadt albums from the solo debut through maybe Simple Dreams or Living In The USA.

Yup, you're wrong. The Doors box set exists. Rhino and Analogue Productions both released the Morrison albums on vinyl. The also released the DVD-A box with remixes.

I'd be happy if they would repress the 1492 soundtrack!
That's one of my favorite soundtracks ever!

For me I would love to see Traffic, Buffalo Springfield and The Byrds vinyl box sets. Also can I second the Tim Buckley request.

I'd love to see David Werner release his three albums (none of which have ever reissued or appeared on CD) as a box set along the lines of ' Perfect Past: the Complete Doctors of Madness which the Doctors of Madness released last year compiling their three albums with generous bonus tracks tacked on to the end of each disc.

They could even do something like the Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers box sets. Do all of the albums and split them up into two seperate boxes.

That would be more like a crate set

Yeah. I love the Doors, but there are multiple boxes available already.
Not to say that it won't happen again. And again.

Tom Petty. I want a CD boxed set with all the albums. Heartbreakers and solo, along with a couple of discs with ALL b-sides and rarities.

Then lets just go all the way to "all" her folk-pop/rock albums, without the standards and the Mariachi.

Another female artist, Olivia Newton-John, who has early 70's albums (songs) still not released in the USA. Plus an album of rarities of course for good measure.........

Even this song "What Is Life" was only available as a UNI 7" single. It's never been on an album here!

I...would...love...a...CD boxed set with every Jethro Tull album...and I am not interested in the Steven Wilson deluxe editions. Just the original mixes please.

This thread made me realize that at this point in my collecteing life the number of artists for whom I'd shell out for a complete-albums box is zero.

First band that came to mind for me. It would be one hell of a box. I've got every core title (and the non core titles) on CD and every Church title that received a vinyl release so I'd prefer a vinyl box set, but would jump on any kind of career encompassing set for this great band.

Black Flag - all the albums and non-album tracks up through '85 would make a great set.

I've got all but three of the core albums (missing three '90s discs) and probably about half of the side albums (only real one of value I'm still missing is Beside Yourself - I have Jammed, both versions of Siguiente, Operetta, Two Beasts etc.). I'm missing a few of the middle-priced things though like Descuidado (holding out for a Liberation Blue original, I want that album so badly).

Their stuff is all out of print due to the very sad Second Motion implosion and SK's general distrust of anyone who might possibly profit from his music besides himself. He seems to be going the Van Morrison route of "If I can't have my music, no one can".
