    Carole King.

Just realised that I've been pronouncing this wrongly all these years. Carole as in Kuh-rowl. Which would be logical, no? Damn extra “e”.

wales is a beautiful place, but someone need to go there when their language was being formed and say would you like to buy a vowel (that is not meant to be derisive or a put down by the way, just an observation of the lots of welsh town names and words i've seen. i look at a word and think, i'd need physical therapy to say that) :)

    (Bang bang) It's Terry"Reed".

Did anyone ever work out what noise you were supposed to make when pronouncing Prince's "symbol"??

Carmine mispronounces his own name - it should be pronounced Carminay App-ee-chay. But, as it's his name, i suppose he can pronounce it as he wants.

Yep: it's Grove-nor. There is a famous British landed family of the same name, but i don't think Luther is related.

I don't have much cause to use it but I once pronounced Jay-Z's name as 'Jay-Zed.'

A lot of Italo-American artists have grown up mispronouncing their own names! :)

No I’m Irish. It actually grinds my gears a bit when I hear Doherty pronounced Dockerty and Gallagher (as in Liam and Noel) pronounced Galla-ger.

Oh who cares. He's not talented enough to argue about. Neither are the Galla-gers.
