The big Glad Ziplock storage bags have worked for me, but not for everything I suppose.

Yeah, I was able (with some persuasion) to fit the Miles Davis - Kind of Blue box set in the Hefty Jumbo 2.5 gal. slide bag. Not the best, but at least it's some form of protection.

The Hefty 2 1/2 gallon size works fine for Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers The Live Anthology. Cut off the zipper and slide in the box set. If you want it open at the top, simply tape the old zipper end shut with clear packing tape and slit the top open at the seam. Slides in and out easily or you can access the records through the open top.

    Thanks for the tip, Kamaaina1.

I took a couple a few minutes ago but then found out I would have to set up on an image hosting site to post here, which I am not interested in doing. Sorry.

A fave locale of mine has paper LP bags or bigger clear bags with handles, which I most often ask for to use for box sets and have even bought extras. They’re kinda bulky but better than nothing, and usually free. Biggest box I can fit in one is Soundgarden’s Telephantasm or Mark Lanegan’s Sub Pop One Way Street allbum collection.

I wish some of these sleeve & supply companies would start making various width slip cases for artist collections and sleeves for all the box sizes.

That's a big "YES" on some company making sleeves for different width sizes for box sets. Whose is main manufacturer of album covers and sleeves in the US? I'd like to talk or email them. What thickness would you need starting, 1" or 3/4"thick and do 1/4"-1/2"increments upward 2" to 3"?

I haven't read the whole thread so apologies if this has already been mentioned but the seller GAZZRECORDS on Amazon sells a variety of sleeves for box sets up to 30mm thickness, which will do me for all but things like the Sgt. Pepper box & my Wagner Ring Cycle sets!

This was a brilliant and cheap solution for those giant box sets. I just received 45 of them for a whopping 13 bucks and they even fit my giant Jimi Hendrix Winterland box set, which is the biggest box I own. Thanks Kamaaina1!
