It seems to me that this has been available for pre-order for a long time. Example below from SSD, also available for pre-order on Music Direct and Elusive Disc. Does anyone know the status of this release?

I got mine finally Just started listening OmG it sounds amazing !! The best I have ever heard on any format period ... The dudes at MFSL killed it on this one !! Awesome sound

 

Agreed I’ve never heard it sound better. Will keep this for the rest of my life.

 

Appears this is already sold out. Cheapest on Discogs is now $250!

 

Apparently, it's awaiting a repress. A reseller would love nothing less than to start a rumor which will make his copy worth more than it is.

 

Got it last year - first pressing. Sounds amazing. And they're the full length versions of the songs.

Packaging is top-notch, too. A great set.

The MFSL site says “strictly limited to 3000 copies”. I wonder if they’ve hit that already. Mine is #933, so perhaps not.

 

Did not mean to imply that you were one (I took your "apparently" as one who wasn't claiming to know with certainty), but rumors like that get started by less than scrupulous individuals.
