stuwee20, if you're a seller and look at my profile, you'll see a pic of my hero...Tony Stewart, NASCAR driver, now retired and team owner with HAAS Racing. And that I always pay fast and furiously
davepjones Started with just buying a few months but I've managed to have non-stop record & CD auctions now since January 1999.
My eBay handle is pressureworld of course! The name was said in a song I heard years ago and decided to stick with it.
je suis 'paxmart' still debating the fate of various collectible LPs in my record collection- something I've been avoiding, since selecting the ones to part with and their proper pricing are such maddening decisions. I prefer to sell eyewear, wallets, sporting goods, miscellaneous collectibles, and knickie-knackies. Old-school cyber-flea market eBay, not a middleman for new goods. I also have some audio gear. But I think I'll offer most of that here on the Forum first. Same problem as with the LPs, though. I've been back on eBay for less than a year- I ran afoul of their inhuman algorithm and was banished for a while. Long boring story. (takeaways: 1) use eBay's Pitney Bowes for overseas shipping, or don't do it at all. Currently, I only ship to the USA and Canada; and 2) it's possible to be punished for good deeds.) also 'pixmart', on Etsy (vintage goodies) and Tradesy (mostly eyewear)
Mine was "cotintail" RIP. My long term relationship with eBay has ended. It was ended by me. I wish someone can tell me how to get kicked off permenatly. I have lost my last dollar to these charlatans. Sellers beware! Better to sell your stuff for fair and realistic prices than to lose your money to these clowns.
joe-lopez Originally it was tonyrome, but then I started selling things and people would send me messages that started with Dear Tony, and it seemed more confusing than it was worth. Actually, when I first joined eBay (early 1998), you weren’t allowed to have any kind of username. Your email address was your username. They changed that quickly enough when people started contacting each privately and cutting eBay out of the transaction altogether.
