Surf's Up is one of my favorite albums of all time. I even enjoy Student Demonstration Time. Good looking collection.

Thank you good sir! Man, I hate Student Demonstration Time, always have. It just kills the chill vibe of the album. Glad its the last song on side 1. I jump up after Disney Girls, cue up and flip the album over.

Ok, I finally added the ultimate audiophile tweak, stereo lava lamps. After several hours of experimentation with positioning finally hit the sweet spot and BAM! The music opened up, the soundstage widened and deepened, imaging came further into focus, bass got tighter, highs extended.....it all just got right! Hope you all have a great weekend! Happy listening!

    Most excellent!

Now you need to add a cat. It will improve everything to such levels that the sound stage will start trespassing on your neighbors property.

That's funny, I was thinking of grabbing another one and going "stereo". If I do, I'll post a picture

I look forward to the day when we don’t travel too much to have pets and can have cats again. I miss them.

Absorption behind the speakers? It seems like a majority use dispersion panels behind? I’m asking because I have no idea what to do. Adding absorption behind softens the bass attack and reduces the decay greatly for me.
