Night Court: What If

This is inspired by the What if Shelley Long doesn't leave Cheers thread.

 

So what is the what if?

 

I'm in the process of working on that.

 

What if Bull had slept with Christine?

 

What if Night Court had a Season 10?

What if one of the cast members didn't leave (such as Karen Austin, Gail Strickland, Ellen Foley, or Paula Kelly)? Would we still have seen Markie Post and Charles Robinson?

What if Selma or Florence didn't die?

What if Harry and Christine's relationship came into fruition? What about Dan and Christine?

What if Night Court ended at Season 8?

 

I would have liked to see a Night Court episode with Cliff on there facing trial for something

No Cliff and Norm! That would've been cool

 

What if Bull puppet became a regular cast member?

Markie Post and Charles Robinson were great additions to the cast - that's when the show really hit its stride.

It's sad that Selma and Florence passed away, but Marsha was a great replacement.

Even great sitcoms get old after awhile. Night Court lasted long enough. We really didn't need more seasons IMO.

My question: What if John Larroquette had been cast as Sam on Cheers, and Ted Danson got his role on Night Court?

 

I had hoped for some sort of a Night Court reunion or spinoff. Perhaps Dan and Christine becoming partners at their own law firm.
I've never heard much from Richard Moll, but I get the idea that he has tried to distance himself from "Night Court". Has he ever commented?

 

The episode, The Blizzard does not end well...

Nuclear war breaks out on the same night. Cut off from the rest of the world, supplies dwindle. Lines crossed in desperation, rivalry and betrayal as all hell breaks loose...

something like, Lord of the Flies meets 12 Monkeys, High-Rise (2015) and Mayhem (2017).

 

Ted Danson would've probably gotten a spinoff show based off of the character of Dan Fielding and John Larroquette would've never won all of those Emmy Awards.

 

Sorry, but I was in the process of thinking up something good.

 

What if a demented ventriloquist steals the Bull puppet, the Bull puppet takes control of him, and through the puppet he became a regular cast member?

 

What if Dan Fielding was 33 feet tall and made of burnished titanium?

 

What if as you took your first step out of your door every day the theme song cued right up, and played until you got where you were going.

Answer: you would be a bad-a#$

 

I think Billy staying would have still been a funny show. I dunno, everything from Season 2 the end of Season 7 was pretty perfect.

What if: Markie Post didn't wear giant oversize tops with humongous shoulder pads? (Honestly I'm not looking to sexualize her - but she looked like the Shmoo for several years.)

What if: Phil and Will had another brother - also named Will??

What if: Star Trek TNG didn't happen and the rumored Bob and June Wheeler show happened?

What if: Dan Harmon's version of the theme song was used in Season 10?
