  11. Haven't seen anybody comment on the inside of the gatefold. It's hilarious. There a pic of it on eBay.

    Clue: BS meets Waldo.

Also, the innersleeve is funny as well. You can check out the lyrics, too!

So apparently the regular version is the only one with gatefold. The limited split color variant isn't gatefold. Hahahaha.

The Carl Sagan turtle neck promo shots were I.Q. 200 Genius! Really looking forward to what my Bob Crites hot rodded Chorus IIs can do with the CD.

Wow, thanks for the info as I had no clue this was happening. Also, that band picture is fantastic!

I like this new one all the way through. Ordered the CD & record through Third Man. I haven't been consistently impressed w/ TMR record quality so my fingers are crossed...

Btw, I am still fixated on The Clarity 12" Southern Lord put out last year. That one sounds awesome!

CD is on the way, not sure how long Third Man takes to ship.

I played this all the way through via Spotify Friday night and it really is pretty much everything I'd want in a Sleep album at this point. Even with the two "older" tracks ("Sonic Titan", "Antarticans Thawed"), it still really flows as a whole. The vocals are surprisingly clean, but not at all a dealbreaker when they still get that fat guitar tone going.

Supposedly a bunch of shops are getting stacks of the green versions in today with the gatefold cover.

Me too. Still waiting on my CD order from Third Man to even finish processing, but I also picked up the green vinyl gatefold cover today. Couldn't resist when I saw it looking back at me from the shelf.

Isn’t the picture with the band in Sagan turtlenecks somewhat old? I remember seeing it way before the album was released.

  22. Yeah, that photo is from 2012.

Received one email from Third Man that my green vinyl has been shipped, and another a few minutes later that states all green vinyl will be shipped on the 30th.
Either way, I was listening to this on Friday but have decided to halt until I get the vinyl. It’s an amazing set of tunes.

Played this again through last night on the train home, it's fantastic. Everything I want in a Sleep album in 2018. Is it Dopesmoker? No. But they've done that and don't need to do it again. My second spin revealed that "The Botanist" might be getting underappreciated with all the focus on the two epics.

I love how the album wraps up over the last two tracks. Giza Butler & Botanist really go together well. Awesome album. My current obsession.
