The fact that The Drifters, Coasters, Dion, Howlin' Wolf & Jackie Wilson weren't already voted in (did Jackie ever get in??) shows that the rot had already started to seep in. Drifters, Coasters & Wolf should have already been in. The Byrds should have gotten in the 1st year they were eligible (which I think would have been the year before).

Jackie and Coasters were inducted in 1987, DiOn in 1989 (without Belmonts), Wolf was inducted as an Early Influence in 1991; that is the actual years

marmil It's such a long story...

I'm confused - If they were inducted in 1987 why are they on the ballot for 1991?

This is a revisit; a do over of sorts.

1987 was their year in the actual Hall
