I've been poking around the threads in here a bit but thought it would be easier to start a new thread. I need to replace my Sony blu-ray player that I picked up from Costco back in 2010. It still works, but the apps for things like YouTube are no longer valid. Netflix still works, but it's clumsy to operate and the picture is choppy. The menu screen states Hulu support will end in July.

It also won't play PAL Region 0 discs.

Any decently-priced players on the market that can play PAL Region 0? I'd obviously be open to a region-free player, but I'm not interested in any off-brand players. I also want one that has great app functionality for things like Netflix and YouTube.

If I'm behind the times and I should just invest in something like Chromecast for the streaming component, let me know.

I mainly watch TV at night with headphones, so not looking for audiophile quality here.
