I was having fun as sometimes you don't quote the person you are responding to like above to me...I thought you'd get a chuckle out of the thread I linked to...no biggie.

Ah. Ok. In that particular case I was more or less letting multiple people know that I thought the glitch was minor.

And I often don't quote the post directly above mine. I've been taught that it leads to "clutter".

Anyway, I'll try to lighten up! Lol! :)

Indeed...to this day, I still have not bought either of The Fugitive sets (Most Wanted or Complete Series) due to the fact that it seems likely (or unavoidable) that I'll receive an uncorrected set.

I've had this title in my Amazon cart for several weeks now. Price is currently at 59 bucks. How much lower can it go?

This set is so awesome. I've been watching an episode a week to savor it.

love it as well, but everything I watch this I feel pissed that we only got a DVD release as it could have been amazing on BD! Typical Shout greed...

Deepdiscount has it for $56.09 right now. Use 15% off code "BLOOM15" to bring it down to $47.68.

  18. My understanding is it was purely a financial decision on the part of Shout. They didn't feel that the set would sell well on BD but would on DVD.

Sadly, I saw the glitch on my Outer Limits set last disc. Oh well, still enjoying it.

TV was meant to be 4x3, it was produced in 4x3. You want it to look the right way, then you should use a 4x3 set. I'm sure these look very good but I don't have a blue ray or 16x9 TV as everything I watch was not shot that way.

I have routinely mastered many 4x3 shows on a 16x9 monitor, just looking at the 1.33 square in the middle of the monitor. Nothing wrong with that, but you do have to take care not to burn-in the monitor over time. We've been using exclusively 16x9 monitors for video mastering for at least 20 years that I know of (CRT, LCD, Plasma, and now OLED).

After watching the episode “O.B.I.T.”, which I was thinking was a little slow, my mouth hung open. That’s 1963 talking about us! Whoa!
