It doesn't make me depressed, it just flows over me. Paper Tiger for instance. ... certainly no Midnight Vultures for sure however.

Getting annoyed by what's playing defeats the purpose of "entertainment" for me. That's the great part of being able to listen for free these days, I can listen before I invest.

That 4.0 mix of Abraxas that nearly made me puke years ago...still has that effect, when I recently bought the AF SACD, The Collection.

I will have to give that another listen. I remember liking all the old Santana quad mixes with Caravanserai being my favorite. It definitely didn't make me want to puke, I would remember that!

Black Magic Woman ping-pongs across the room violently. Extremely annoying. Makes me love my One Step vinyl all the more.

So I take it you don't like Flaming Lips, Yoshimi? That doesn't bother me on BMW...or Yoshimi.

Where is this available? Was it on a live box set?

 It is a bit of a downer, but I don't think it is that depressing! Many of the tunes are uptempo. I have the 192/24 BluRay and the surround mix is exquisite! One of the best that I have.

For you Donald, I'll give it another chance. Years have passed, and at least it's not Eminem the angry auctioneer. # 1 on my Annoying list, and one of my son's favorites.

It never hurts to try! OK, many of the songs aren't uptempo (I was thinking of Guero). When you play the first track you may think "wait, isn't this Wild Horses'? :)

I did, and I never made it to the third track. And people call Kevin Costner monotone ? Kevin is Bobcat compared to Beck.
Still no thanks on this guy.

I ordered it a few weeks ago, and in fact, that's how I discovered this thread. I am loving Moondance in 5.1. Absolutely worth checking out.
