Could we get two more short video teasers (one Tues and one Wednesday), then full album announcement Thursday, Digital single release this Friday, Carpool Karaoke Friday, Music video release for the single over the weekend, and then full digital and physical release of the LP next Friday June 29.

He has to release something for purchase this week, at least a single. Or else I think they are waiting/teasing too long.

 

Yes, it's what modern acts often do at Instagram, it's all about the 3 photos which make one line. The way things are going there will be now 2 videos in this style, then 3 photos/videos in the style of the first 3, to round it off.

This has already been better promo than anything MPL did in the past decade (post 'Memory Almost Full'). But now it's taking too long already, typically. The turnover for a big release is like... 12 hours these days? Nas should've been the biggest release this week, but was already overshadowed in 48 hours by Beyonce/Jay-Z.

Aha! Another little mystery solved: www.egypt-station.com is now redirecting to paulmccartney.com. So I guess we know that it was indeed Capitol/MPL that snatched up the URL earlier this month. Looks like it won't be the home of dedicated content for the album, though, the way they did in the days of old with "myesite" (am I remembering that name correctly??) for MAF.

 

I find the teaser video intriguing, and if the album is, in fact, to be entitled Egypt Station, I’m all for it. So strange and unexpected.

I have to say, I really disliked the meyesight page...found it frustrating to use and pretty skimpy on content.

(EDIT: If anyone has a burning desire to revisit meyesight and, unlike me, has the appropriate version of Flash, you can plug the address into archive.org and relive those glory days of 2008.)
